Our highly skilled team creates bespoke outdoor spaces in contemporary and traditional styles.  We combine plants and landscaping materials to construct unique and beautiful environments.

We work closely with our clients during each stage of the garden design and landscaping process, whether creating individually tailored planting schemes, patio and courtyard spaces, water features, summer houses, or complete landscape transformations.

Spring is here and our gardens are waking up. The clocks have gone forwards so we have an extra hour of daylight to enjoy the heartwarming sight of spring bulbs; yellow and cream daffodils nodding next to jewel-coloured bluebells, hyacinths and crocuses. Spring blossom can be breathtaking, the beauty of a crab apple or a flowering cherry tree laden with blossom can stop you in your tracks.  Spring is a good time to take a fresh look at your plot and to plan any changes that you would like to make.  If you are thinking about transforming your garden in time for the summer, we are sure that we can be of assistance. Feel free to ring or email for an informal chat to see how we can help you realise your vision.

We are really pleased to welcome garden designer James Collins to our team.  James trained at Otley College in Suffolk and has many years experience in designing, planting and maintaining gardens.  James can offer you advice and inspiration and transform your ideas into detailed garden designs and planting schemes.

Training has begun for WorldSkills Leipzig 2013.  Two successful training events have already been completed.  We are very pleased to welcome Kate Schindler as the first female member of the Team UK Landscape Gardening Squad.

Catch us at the Suffolk Show - come and have a chat - we look forward to seeing you there.

Seasonal tips

Now is the time to dead-head larger bulbs such as daffodils after they have finished flowering, so that they can put all of their energy into producing next year's flowers.  Smaller bulbs like snowdrops and crocuses can be left to self-seed.  Summer-flowering bulbs and tubers such as lilies and gladioli can be planted out in April,  dahlia tubers may rot in wet spring weather so it is safer to wait until May to plant them unless you live in a warm area.

Lawns have started growing again so it is time to get the mower out regularly.  Continue to feed your lawn and remove weeds and moss.  Moss is caused by poor drainage, this can be improved by raking out any dead grass that has built up.  If you are planning a new lawn, now is a good time to prepare the ground and lay turf or sow grass seed.  Keep an eye on the weather and keep watering a new lawn in dry spells.

Most maincrop vegetable seeds can be sown in April, including carrots, beetroot, spinach, parsnips and kale.  Sprouted potatoes must be planted by the middle of April.  Marrows, courgettes and squashes can be sown indoors in pots now or directly into the soil from late May.  If you are short of space a smaller variety of squash will look fantastic growing up a sturdy trellis.
